One of the things we are working on this year is trying to find organizations who would like to help support the CD Release.  The album is slated to be released October 2020.  Please if your organization or company is considering giveaways or special gifts. We can customize an album cover or label with your company logo.  The only requirement is a purchase of 100 or more.  These could be a great gift for your employees, clients and/or customers listening pleasure.

Jp wrote the majority of the songs over the COVID shutdown period.  He is still currently tracking 3 of the songs.  However three of the songs are completed and mastered.  Two of them were songs that have been in the setlist but never recorded for release.  One of the songs he wrote prior to forming Jp's Eternia.

With the sudden passing of Peter Green one of Jp's biggest influences... He plans to make a tribute EP to him over the next few weeks with Steven Jones on Drums and Steven Patterson on bass.  This will be a live in the room style 3 song EP of Jp's favorite Peter Green songs.

FIRST SHOW OF THE YEAR GREAT TIME!!

Jp & Jesse Doing Their Thang Every year the John-Paul Jones Group does a "soft opening"  many folks don't realize that by November 1st of each year the band is on vacation until March 1st of the following year.    This allows the band much needed time to relax, and to avoid the Iowa winters.  March 1st to May 15th the band starts back in pre-production for the summer concert series. The John-Paul Jones Group is the primary project of its leader, John-Paul "Jp" Jones and it’s his vision and under his direction the band has progressed in its now 20 years of existence. VISIT THEM ON THE WEB On May 18th, 2019 was the Artist's first show of the year, and it was at a new venue for the John-Paul Jones Group.  The venue is the HFI Creativity Lab located at 408 W. Lowe in Fairfield, Iowa. A unique venue with an oval ceiling full dance floor commercial restrooms.  But no alcohol service. This is a ballroom to be the best way to describe it

Blues-Bikes-Cars Concert

On July 20th, 2019, despite a statewide heat advisory and power fluctuation problems the John-Paul Jones Group performed at the 1st Annual Blues-Bikes-Cars Concert in Ottumwa, Iowa.  Their brand of Heavy Blues must of  brought in the Heavy Weather, but the band played right to the eve of the storm. The crew worked hard during the storm to pull down the gear and get it out of the storm we were all soaking wet and cold and thanks to a couple good Samaritans we were able to get most of the gear protected. The cars were great as well here are few pictures of them. The Vehicle Show was wonderful with 45 entries.  1st -3rd place was given for cars and trucks. We will get the full roster and awards up in the next few days.  We wanted to thank Scott Reeves of Reeves Hauling for the donation of the Trophies.
