Hello Everyone!! Here is a very cool "Jp" story we just had to share with you: Photo Credit: ESPN.COM - ABC11.COM So as we all know the great Edward Van Halen passed away... Shortly afterwards guitarists world wide took to all manner of social media to pay tribute. Well we here at the John-Paul Jones Group and associated companies know that Eddie was a huge influence on Jp. But it seems Eddie's influence is everywhere including on a 14 year old guitarist from Southeast Iowa named Jacob Schrader... Jacob's mother Sarah posted a facebook video of him playing tribute to Eddie Van Halen..  Jp's friend Ashley Junis tagged him in the video.  Here is a screenshot of Jacob playing. So Jp being the guy that he is contacted Sarah even though he was a stranger.        He absolutely wanted to meet Jacob and invite them both to CopperTop Studio hut to talk guitars and let Jacob see where he records music.  Below are some photos of the boys as they came and visited Jp at Coppe

Many of you may or may not know that Jp has had a concurrent career in the electrical energy industry.  A couple weeks ago he was honored via a nomination by his community member(s) for recognition by Connecticut Electric Manufactures HEROs (Celebrating Electricians) awards program. An amazing honor in itself. Here is the video of this honor...  The cool part and why this is relevant one of Jp's songs on the upcoming "Broke In Bridge City"  album is featured in the mini-doc. Again dont forget pre-order for the CD is open right now at a reduced price:  https://www.johnpauljonesgroup.com/music.html Jp is very humbled by this recognition.  Also this week Jp was able to visit with his "Big Cousin" Ernie Peniston... who is a Blues & Music Hall of Famer... he also has played with BOTH Prince AND Morris Day... Ernie met Jp at CopperTop Studio Hut to share with Jp his new tracks on his upcoming CD.  And let us tell you... the tracks are slamming and when its release

And the only way to get chart placement, is to sell the minimum CDs to make a specific charts threshold.  This has to happen within the 1st week of a release. What many do not realize is that spotify streams and youtube are exponentially harder to help you reach that goal. Physical product is the easiest way to help an artist reach that goal.  For some genres in the right week a 1000 units of presale can help an artist make it to a chart. Once that artist makes it to a chart it helps them with better bookings.  It helps them with
