Hello everyone thank you for your support.  Today's blog post goes out to all the independent music business operators out there.  Some of you are really feeling the pinch of being a small business operator. Hello Jp Here I have been a diabetic diagnosed since 2007 I'm sure I was diabetic before that but that is when I am the official diagnosis. Over the years I have worked very hard to maintain and reduce the effects of diabetes on my body on my playing and then my overall lifestyle. I'm writing this blog post today because it's very important to me to share information that I get because I do work very hard at keeping my health in check. But to be honest my last A1C was horrible to me it was an 8.0 up from a 6.95 I think I was Now 60 days of that was the stress and the inactivity of the Coronavirus sanctions for lack of a better word. No excuses but I really didn't change my diet I didn't change my medications everything just seemed off one of the things that I didn't know how to do was like many diabetics I have to wait for the doctor to figure out what my A1c is going to be and I find that very disturbing that I have to wait 4 months or 3 months a...

Many folks don't understand that the work of an independent artist, is one of many many tasks.  Indepndent artist generally have to build a team of individuals to help them with live shows and talent to play their music.  Unlike major label artists, independent artists, have to work hard at their publicity, marketing, legal, and publishing. We at the John-Paul Jones Group, want to say "congrats" to Jp for sticking with his vision all these decades.  We were checking the stats on Reverbnation Blues Charts both Global and USA and we see that John-Paul Jones Group has moved into the #3 spot.  There are over 4600 spots on this chart.  And to be in the Top 10 was an honor, to be in the top 5 was an even greater honor, but to make it into the Top THREE is wonerful. Hello All? Just a quick note hope you are all wonderful and as as safe as you can be during these times. As you may or may not know Jp endorses quite a few companies.  But he wanted to take some time to share his thoughts on one company in particular. Hello everyone, I have been tasked by my friend  Jay  Leshen  to post one album cover per day with no explanation and to task another person to post an album cover of a band that had a big influence on their life. So I nominate Jaclynn Jones    to post an album cover of an influential band to her facebook one a day for 10 days and nominate someone else.
